From technical support to enterprise virtualization to multi-cloud architecture — the whole stack, learned by running it.
I'm a Cloud Architect with 18+ years of progressive IT and infrastructure experience. I design and operate enterprise-grade multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP — bridging architecture, DevOps, security, and IT operations.
My career started in technical support, where I learned the fundamentals of Windows, Linux, networking, and databases that continue to inform my architecture decisions today. From there, I moved through infrastructure engineering — thousands of VMs across VMware and Hyper-V, HPE Synergy composable infrastructure, SAN storage administration, and PowerShell automation that cut VM deployment times by 70%.
These days I'm the sole cloud architect at a financial services company, where I own the full Azure and AWS environment. I've built greenfield Azure landing zones from scratch, managed production Kubernetes clusters across all three major clouds, and led cloud migration initiatives end-to-end.
The through-line: I've been the person paged at 3am for every layer of the stack. That shapes how I design — a bias for simple, boring, reversible systems that don't wake anyone up.
